This module provides insight into the detailed experimental characterization of fiber reinforced materials and products. The course participants become familiar with the key test philosophies and types of tests for FRPs. They are in a position to draw up test programs, to define the requirements, and to evaluate the test results.
The realistic minimum requirements for taking this module are successful completion of the online introductory learning program or the Introductory Module. Ideally participants will have taken the Base Modules of the Composite Engineer course. No special prior knowledge beyond this is necessary for taking this module.
The target group for this module are employees who are responsible for fiber composite structures and components, namely engineers and scientists in all disciplines and industries as well as technicians and technologists with suitable professional experience and expertise.
