Adhesives, fibers, and matrix resins are examples of modern industrial materials that are used to manufacture high-quality, high-performance products. Quality and performance are being continually bettered, allowing uses in a range of industries that would have seemed unimaginable just a few years ago. This trend - the use of modern materials and the effective joining of these materials - will continue in the future and will enable the increasing requirements on products and components to be met. It is essential, however, that the actual users of these materials do use them correctly. In addition, adhesive and raw material manufacturers (for fiber composites) must be able to provide sound advice about the relevant total process chain and also provide ongoing support to users. These aspects are covered in the adhesive bonding and fiber composite training courses for adhesive and raw material manufacturers.
