Dipl.-Ing. Stefan Simon has worked at Fraunhofer IFAM since 2009 and is Head of the Fiber Composites Training Center in the "Training and Technology Transfer" department.
In addition, he is involved in the qualifications of the Adhesive Bonding Technology Training Center as an instructor specializing in FRP.
He is responsible for the strategic development and organization of the training center and its expansion through national and international cooperation. Other areas of responsibility in which Stefan Simon is active are:

• Tutoring at all course levels
• Advising on matters relating to accreditation in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17024
• Representing the Training Center for Fiber Composite Technology in committees of the DVS
• Representing the Training Center for Fiber Composite Technology in committees of the AVK
• Representing the Training Center for Fiber Composite Technology in committees of the DIN
  
• Advising companies in the area of fiber composites, including training
• Development and execution of in-house training courses/seminars
